Loctite 5980 - silicone sealant 100ml

LOCTITE® SI 5980 is a black, alcohol-based silicone sealant ideal for applications requiring excellent oil resistance and the ability to withstand significant joint movement. It is typically used for pressed steel covers such as timing chain covers and oil pans. LOCTITE SI 5980 cures upon exposure to moisture in the air to form a tough, flexible seal. Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and prevents product migration after application. It can withstand low-pressure sealing tests immediately after assembly of the mating flanges.
