The diode (551308) is connected between the power source and the two batteries to be charged. The normal battery is charged as usual. When the second battery is connected, the diode automatically distributes the charge between the two batteries and prevents voltage migration between the two batteries. Filled with oil like the ignition coils for a long trouble-free life. Can be permanently installed on the vehicle. For positive and negative grounded systems. For 12V or 24V systems.
