80" Shovel Back Full Seat Set green 1953-54

The Square back seats have a pressed steel internal frame that Exmoor Trim have reproduced the tooling for. These style of seats were only used for one year of production before the 86" appeared on the market. Remember when you order All Minerva Series 1 Land Rovers were fitted with Square back style seats and the normal material type for these Belgium army 80" was Minerva Brown Vinyl and we also supply the hoods for the Minerva. Square back seat backs are the early 80" style seating from 1953 to 1954 with the typical Square back shape to the seat backs, The internal frame on these are pressed steel. With internal foams trimmed in a vinyl finish thats very close to the original coloration and grain impression with the classic piped border that defines the outer shape. The seat backs are supplied with the 100mm Leather retaining strap and rubber buffer fitted as original Hand built using many original methods, with internal oak frames, our new reproduction Dunlopillow high density foam to reproduce the correct weight and feel of the old style Dunlopillow internals. Hessian finish on underside and trimmed in the correct colour vinyl with Piped edges. All the backs are made to match and available in full sets or individually along with all mounting hardware & 80 " seat base buffers / locators. Please note that the 80" seat bases are not supplied with seat base locators there are two of these per seat base and this locates the seat bases into the seat box holes on top of the seat box. all our Series I square back seats are available individually as backs and cushions if you don’t require a full seat sets.
