
Cylinder head 2.25D imperial - reconditioned
Land Rover2.25D Series 2/3 cylinder head with imperial threads, fully rebuilt to as-new condition. Not suitable for 2.25D 5-bearing metric engines.
The cylinder head has been completely reconditioned:
- Pressure tested (no micro cracks)
- Resurfaced
- Valve seats refaced
- New guides, valves, valve stem seals, and pre-combustion chambers
This head uses imperial hardware, suitable for Series 2 or early Series 3 engines (not the late 1982–84 metric versions).
Like new — ready to run for thousands of miles.
Please read carefully:
The sale of the cylinder head is on an exchange basis.
You must return your old, bare cylinder head. Your old cylinder head must be “reconditionable” in order to recover the surcharge amount. The cylinder head must not be cracked or have stripped threads. If we do not receive a reconditionable cylinder head in return, the surcharge is €300 + VAT.
Two ways to proceed:

You are in a hurry. Order the reconditioned cylinder head via the website; we will add €3,000 excl. VAT as the surcharge, plus shipping costs, to your order. We will ship the reconditioned cylinder head. Within 2 months you must return (at your expense) your old cylinder head. After inspection, if it is reconditionable, we will refund the surcharge (by bank transfer or as a credit on the website, whichever you prefer).

Order the reconditioned cylinder head via the website and send us (at your expense) your old cylinder head. After receipt and confirmation that your old cylinder head is reconditionable, we will send you the reconditioned cylinder head. In this case we will not charge the €3,000 excl. VAT surcharge.
