Note: for very heavily loaded Series 88 models (such as those used for long-distance travel without support), it is possible to fit 8+2 springs. The load capacity per spring increases to 574 kg. If the empty springs bend too much, one solution is to remove the 8th blade, the one that comes into contact with the 2 support blades. This solution provides a good compromise, using the original blades.
