Loctite 510 – flange sealant

This anaerobic gasketing product cures in place and provides excellent resistance to chemicals (oil and fuel) and high temperatures, for rigid machined metal flanges with a small gap.

LOCTITE® 510 is a high-temperature resistant anaerobic flange sealant that forms an instant low-pressure seal in the absence of air between close-fitting metal surfaces. It is ideal for rigid flanges, especially transmission and engine casings. It can fill gaps up to 0.25 mm (0.01") without the need for an activator. Designed for use with aluminium and steel.

• Temperature resistance up to 200°C (400°F)

• Adapts to surface irregularities and scratches up to 0.25 mm (0.01")

• Resistant to oil & fuel

Important: Always clean surfaces thoroughly with Loctite 7063. Brake cleaner is not recommended at all!
